Molybdenum sheets are produced by powder metallurgy, which is formed by powder pressing and then sintering to obtain sintered molybdenum slabs. Sintered molybdenum slabs are rolled, and different thicknesses can be obtained through hot rolling, warm rolling and cold rolling. After rolling, the internal structure of the plate is denser, the density is higher, and the performance is better. Rolling is also divided into directions, unidirectional rolling and cross rolling. Generally, cross-rolled molybdenum sheets have better performance.

If there is subsequent processing, we also provide annealing treatment to eliminate the internal stress of the product and prevent the subsequent recrystallization of the product.

Molybdenum sheets with a thickness of ≤1.0 are shipped with cold rolling or surface cleaning, and the surface is bright after cold rolling; thick molybdenum sheets with a thickness of >1.0 have a silver-gray metallic luster after alkali washing. Our company can produce according to the width, thickness and length provided by the user. Ensure that the surface is smooth, flat, and free of defects such as heavy skin, delamination, cracks, cracked edges, and impurities.


Features of Molybdenum Sheet

1. High melting point and good creep resistance: Molybdenum has a melting point of up to 2620ºC, and can maintain its strength and creep resistance even at high temperatures. The higher the degree of forming of the material, the greater the strength of molybdenum.

2. Good corrosion resistance: Molybdenum is corrosion-resistant when the atmospheric humidity is less than 60%, so molybdenum is widely used in the chemical industry and glass melting furnace industry.

3. Our molybdenum sheet has high purity and extremely low internal defects, so the material has very low resistivity and is suitable for use as electrical contacts and coating materials.

4. Molybdenum has a small thermal expansion coefficient and high thermal conductivity, and has good high temperature resistance.
