LORK is a special stainless steel manufacturer with 20 years of manufacturing experience.
 

Nitriding 135 Steel is a modification of AISI 4140 designed specifically for nitriding applications. As a chrome-moly alloy steel with the addition of aluminum, Nitriding 135 is well-suited for components requiring high surface hardness, heat resistance, and dimensional stability.

Typically supplied in a pre-hardened condition with a hardness of 26-30 HRC, Nitriding 135 Steel is ready for nitriding without the need for further heat treatment. If higher core strength is required, additional heat treatment can be applied. The alloy retains its case and core properties at temperatures up to 1000°F and shows minimal distortion during heat treatment, making it an excellent choice for applications that demand precision and durability.
