2J10 can be precipitation hardened. It has good ductility, and could be cold processed by forging, rolling and drawing and cutting. Usually, 2J10 is applied to motor equipment, such as hysteresis motor, hysteresis brake, etc. Fe-Co-V hysteresis alloys have good ductility before tempering. After cold rolling (or drawing) with 90% strain, excellent hysteresis properties and strong magnetic anisotropy can be obtained, i.e. longitudinal magnetic properties are better than transverse ones. Therefore, if the wire can be used as the rotor of hysteresis motor in the manufacturing process, its performance is better, and it has more development prospects.

2J10 is used to produce high efficiency hysteresis motor rotor and hysteresis brake. 2J10 wire can be used to make weigand wire in weigand sensor.
The corrosion resistance of 2J10 is good and it does not rust in the atmosphere.
