GH4720Li superalloy (Udimet 720Li in the United States) is a Ni-Cr-Co based deformation superalloy strengthened by precipitation of face-centered cubic γ′-Ni3(Al, Ti) phase. It has high strength, fatigue resistance and creep resistance, good corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and long-term structural stability between 650~750ºC[1-2]. Therefore, GH4720Li superalloy is mainly used to manufacture high-performance forged turbine disks for aircraft engines used below 750ºC, and can also be used in new generation strategic missiles and high-thrust rocket engine power units. The United States has used this superalloy as a high-performance turbine disk material in advanced aircraft engines such as BR700, EJ200, AE2100, AE3007, T406 and T800[3]. my country began to develop GH4720Li superalloy in 2002. In-depth research has been conducted on the process, structure and performance of this alloy, and it has been applied to more than ten types of advanced aircraft engines.
