Incoloy 825 belongs to the Alloy 800 family that packs in nickel-chromium-iron along with the addition of copper, titanium, as well as molybdenum. This alloy brings in features such as high corrosion resistance, moderate oxidization resistance, as well as reducing environment.

This alloy is almost close to the alloy 800. However, it brings in an improved resistance with regards to issues such as aqueous corrosion. The perfect balance of the alloying elements brings in exceptional resistance for corrosion cracking that comes from chloride stress.
