GH6783 is a Co-Ni-Fe based precipitation hardening ferromagnetic oxidation resistant low expansion deformation high temperature alloy with a service temperature of less than 750ºC. The alloy is strengthened by adding a large amount of aluminum and niobium elements, and precipitating γ'-Ni3 (Al, Nb) dispersion strengthening phase and blocky β-NiAl phase during aging. The alloy can reach a complete oxidation resistance level at 750ºC, and has excellent room temperature and high temperature mechanical properties, low thermal expansion coefficient and low density. The fine grain size can be controlled by precipitating β-NiAl phase during thermal deformation. The micro-alloyed alloy has excellent hot working properties and cold forming process properties. Hankai's main supply products include bars, cakes, rings, cold-rolled sheets and strips.
GH6783 high-temperature alloy has been used to manufacture gap control components such as sealing rings, bearing rings and casings of advanced aircraft engines.
Bolts and other fasteners and bearing shafts and other components serving at medium and high temperatures in ground gas turbines,
Air guide tubes of rocket engines, etc.
Compared with other low expansion high-temperature alloys GH2907 and GH2909, the excellent oxidation resistance and low density of GH6738 alloy are the main characteristics of this alloy. The alloy has excellent performance and structural stability below 700ºC, but poor thermal stability above 750ºC.
