ASTM A312 Tp316 Material Properties are mechanically superior than the 304 piping products. The addition of molybdenum in the composition makes the material stronger and more corrosion resistant. The ASTM A312 Grade Tp316 is an austenitic stainless steel. The ASTM A312 Gr Tp316 produced by Oshwin Overseas are seamless and accurate. We produce all kinds of pipes in this material grade. Type 316/ 316L stainless steel pipe are intended for use in applications that require high strength, toughness and workability, as well as enhanced corrosion resistance. Compare to 304 stainless steel, the alloy contains a higher percentage of molybdenum and nickel, which improves corrosion resistance.

TP 316 Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe Value Added Service

Polishing

Victor Steel can polish nearly any stainless steel pipe item to a #4 polish, #6 Polish, #7 polish or a #8 mirror finish. Stainless steel polished pipes can also be cut to size.

Beveling

Victor Steel can bevel stainless steel pipe to prepare for welding or other processes.

Honing/Turning

Victor Steel can hone pipe and tube, using a precision abrasion process in order to obtain a desired finish or close dimensional tolerance.

Heatreating & Annealing

Some grades of stainless steel pipe and tube can be heatreated to change the mechanical properties. Precipitation Hardening Stainless Steels such as 17-4PH can be heatreated. 410 stainless steel plate can also be heatreated. In some cases, secondary annealing 300 series stainless steel may be required depending on the application

Positive Material Identification (PMI)

Victor Steel can perform PMI testing in house for most stainless steel grades, or we can work with independent labs to complete PMI in order to meet customer specifications.

UT Testing

In some cases, UT testing of the stainless steel pipe and tueb may be required. We can assist you with this requirement.
